Number 15 brings in an element of play. It’s a 15min AMRAP of as many short hills, stairs you can complete. This one is well suited for an outdoors location that contains a mix of stairs and hills.
- 15min AMRAP, alternatining between 2 or 3 hills or stairs, all in the 20-40 sec range to summit
- Spontaneously select your pattern on the go. For example, you may want to do hill/stairs 1 three times, then do hill/stairs 2 once and then do all 3 in a row. It’s all up to you!
- Run all of them hard up, easy down. Push yourself, but keep the spirit playful and childlike.

Notes from Jeff’s test run of this HWOD: I did this one in Richterswil, Switzerland at an old fort ruins. Two of the climbs were (legal) ascensions of the fort’s stairs. The 3rd was a hill right next two it. Becky and I ran this one together and kept the spirit competitive, but playful. After HILLWODs 13 & 14 this week, which my legs are still sore from, this one was a beast!
