HILLWOD 34 includes up-hill skipping, both forwards and the slightly awkward backwards up-hill variant!

 

Instructions:

Complete 6-8 rounds of the following:

All Skips are HIGH skips. Think maximum hang time.

Rest 2-3min in between rounds

Notes from Jeff’s test run of this HILLWOD: There’s nothing quite like the feeling of launching into an up hill sprint AFTER 20 high skips. And that 2nd 50m sprint, after the unusual backwards skips, it’s definitely special. I tested HILLWOD 34 on a cloudy autumn day in Richterswil, Switzerland. I completed 6 rounds in 20 minutes. With warm-up and cool-down, this one took me 36 minutes. I tested the Stryd Running Power Meter for the first time today and measured a peak of 624 watts and average of 418 watts throughout the entire workout. Very interesting to see and consider power data in running, especially on hills! I’m anxious to test and learn more about this innovation.
