Hill Running Workout 7 #hillwod


This one is a leg BURNER!! The combination of high skips performing up hill, a long set of walking lunges and squats as “recovery” brings the magic in HWOD7.




24min cap

BONUS 1: 100 downhill 2-count walking lunges immediately after the 24-min timer expires. Take BIG steps for each lunge.
BONUS 2: 10 squats immediately after the 100 downhill walking lunges.


Notes from Jeff’s test run of this Hill Running Workout: I did this one on my favorite local hill in Switzerland (in Richterswil). This one isn’t a cardio burner the same way the first 6 HIllWODs have been, but it is a muscle burner. I made it back up the ladder to complete the round with 14 2-count skips, backwards lunge walking and the 14 squats. I also did the two bonus add-ons — and stumbled around for 5 minutes afterwards! This one rocks. I hope you love it — or at least hate it in a way that you ultimately love it!
