Notes from Jeff’s test run of this HILLWOD: I did this one at the end of a day when I was quiet tired. I had just spent a few hours on emails and 6 hours doing a mix of Podcast recording sessions and post production, so this was a major “”desk day”” where I was feeling drained and really needed some movement time.  It was 8PM when I started and it took about 10 minutes to start feeling alive with my running legs. After a 10 minute climb on a hill in Richterswil that I don’t usually train on, I entered the forest and ran to what I call “”the Gauntet””, a steep set of 68 steps on a trail in the Riedhözli. In the 10 min AMRAP, I completed 511 steps and felt completely energized throughout! I added on a 5KM trail and lake run home and that included a refreshing plunge in the Zürisee on the way home.
